Meet The Providers

Marla & Linda - 2005

Hello my name is Linda. I am a licensed Professional Childcare Provider. I have been providing Childcare in my home since 1991.

My husband and I met in 1976 when I was at my childcare providers (we used to be called babysitters) home, picking up my 2 children. It was love at first sight for me. We have been together from day one and married 7 years later. He has been a wonderful father to our children ever since.

My husband and I love to ride in the dirt, I have a quad runner, and he rides a dirt bike. We will go up north to the mountains and pitch a tent with our daughter and her family for the weekend. We also love to spend the weekends whenever time and money allow in Lake Tahoe once in the winter and once in the summer.

We have 2 dear children, a beautiful daughter named Anna born in 1973 and a handsome son named Anthony "T" born in 1974. We have 2 sweet and wonderful grandchildren; A young man "Hector" born in 1993 and a sweet young lady "Emily" born in 1994. We have a great son-in-law his name is Hector. Anna and Hector have been together since they were high school sweethearts. They make an excellent family. They are devoted parents and he is a hardworking supportive man. Let us not forget our family dog, KayCe, born in 1990.

My husband and I have a very nice house born in 1990, we love it. We have a great big backyard all done in lawn and trees with tons of toys. If you want to see toys you should see the playroom.

My husband and I met when I was at my Daycare providers home, picking up my 2 children. It was love at first sight for me. We have been together from day one and married 7 years later. He has been a wonderful father to our children ever since.

I believe it was destiny for me to do Daycare. I have a love for children that is endless. I believe I have a very good program and I hope you will take the time look at it.

THE CHILDCARE PROVIDER

Although I'm not their mother,
I care for them each day.
I cuddle, sing, and read to them,
And watch them as they play.
I see each new accomplishment,
and help them grow and learn,
I understand their language,
and I listen with concern.
They come to me for comfort,
And I kiss away their tears.
They proudly show their work to me,
I give the loudest cheers!
No, I am not their mother,
But my role is just as strong.
I nurture them and keep them safe,
Though maybe not for long.
I know someday the time may come,
When we will have to part,
But I know each child I've cared for
Is forever in my heart!!!!!!!
